Sustain U – Rubber vs Coco Tree Rings and Mulch Mats

In this edition of Sustain University or Sustain U, Conserv-A-Store’s attempt to educate you on certain green products and methods,  we are reviewing the pros and cons of the recycled rubber mulch mat material and the coco mat mulch substitute material.

The rubber mulch tree ring is composed of reused tire treads. It is mixed with adhesive to stick together and painted. It should last at least 5 years but could last much longer depending on wear and care
