Have you ever visited
What a great site to get your mind thinking about alternative energies and a more sustainable lifestyle.
DSIRE or Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency is
“a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility, and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. Established in 1995 and funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, DSIRE is an ongoing project of the N.C. Solar Center and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council.”
Just click on your state in the map that pops up and you will be directed to what is available to you from Federal, State, and Local government entities and from utilities for funding or credits/rebates to start your consideration of personal or business use of Solar Electric, Solar Water, Wind, Hydro, Geothermal, Biomass, and depending on your locale other types of renewable energies.
If you enjoy the site, please pass it on to your friends and family. The more educated we all are about renewables, the less sway the global oil and gas industry will have on our pocketbooks and way of life and the more the Green economy will continue to grow
