To follow up our blog photo of last week( where we showed a pic of a ton of CO2), here is a schematic of projected world CO2 production by region by Millions of metric tonnes.
The projected growth of China is astronomical and the projected growth of Asia ex Japan and China and Korea is quite large too.
India and Africa do not have as large a potential contribution as we would have thought.
So we glean from this that the US and Europe must work closely with China to try and work an accord that let’s them feed their people but at a much reduced cost to the environment than that projected.
