The impetus to change from the oil empire of Texas and Alberta and Saudi and Russian and Venezuela etc is hard for humans. Even though we are in a brief rest from $100/barrel we will go back soon and most Americans seem to not remember the summer of 08 when the Great Recession really hit it’s high thanks largely to unconscionable oil and gas prices.
So should we not focus on alternatives? Is that not what smart people would do?
