On average light bulbs can waste a lot of energy. One of the main reasons for this is people forget to turn off their light bulbs. This can waste a ton of energy and it’s all by accident. It’d be great if something could turn the light bulbs off for you when you forget. Well you’re in luck because there is a way.
Light controls are an easy way to help you conserve energy. Today’s featured light controller is the 100W programmable Amertac control. This control turns your lights on at dusk and off at dawn but there is also a feature that allows an off setting after 2, 5, or 8 hours. There’s also a random off option.
This light control is compatible with CFL(compact fluorescents) or incandescent light bulbs and is easily installed. All you have to do is screw in your light bulb to the top of the light control and screw the control where you would put the bulb and that’s it. The maximum amount of wattage these bulbs will support is 100.
